One Ingredient Ice Cream!

I have been hearing about this easy ice cream you can make from JUST BANANAS!  

Give your food processor another job today....
Let it turn slices of frozen banana into a heavenly
(did I mention healthy) dessert or summer snack. 

KIDS love this recipe too!!!

Start with a few ripe (but not over ripe) bananas. 

Peel and slice them into small rounds. 
Place on a small cookie sheet or pie pan and freeze them for 2-3 hours. 
Make sure not to freeze them too long. 

After bananas have frozen for a few hours place them all into
your food processor fitted with the steel blade attached.

Attach your lid and turn machine on scraping sides as needed. 

I found that I had to add a tablespoon of milk to my
bananas and it whipped up perfectly smooth and creamy. 


The possibilities are end less when it comes to adding in some
special flavors to this too.  A few suggestions you might try adding
a tablespoon of honey, nutella, cocoa powder or smooth peanut butter.
